Re: Missing header file in zm_local_camera.cpp

I was getting this same error when compiling (or trying to) on Scientific Linux 6.1. SL6 is another RHEL variant like CentOS. I can confirm that these extra includes allow zoneminder 1.25.0 to compile on Scientific Linux 6.1. Any hopes of have this added to 1.25.1? Any ideas why this is needed? Is ...

what is the best way to delete events w/out screwing up the database? After removing them from the filesystem, would we need to run an SQL cmd to let the database know all the events are gone?

I'm having a similar problem on ZM v1.22.1. After running for a few (8-10) hours all ram (and most of swap) is gone. Apache and zmc and zma are using the most RAM according to top. Once zmc and zma where using over 200MB (according to top's SHR column)! This is a new install so I imagine the ...

When I click the "snapshot and mail" button, it does not send me to a webpage with a still image. It seems to run another tgi script then refreshes the screen showing the java video applet.

This is for the HNC210 by Hawking. Does this mean we cannot use these camaras with ZM?

Here is some output from ethereal. You can load this file in ethereal

http://johabba.net/hnc210

I tried the tgi url you suggested using port 4321 and port 80. However there is no image. Maybe you can find something in the cap file.

Thanks again for helping.

Sorry for my late response. I lost my internet connection for a while and just got it back. Thanks for the offer to help and the added info. I'm resinstalling my test machine now and will install ZM and try that tgi URL. I may still take you up of the offer to connect my camera and sniff. I used ...

Card working but no image

I picked up a K-world 4 port card and a CCD color/low lux camera. I've gotten this combo to work before using Debian Sarge and the same hardware. I'm trying to do the same now on another machine. I've seen reports in these forums of this card working. I'VE gotten this card to work and from the blue ...

thx for the reply JW. Since the zones "just worked" in older ZM versions, i didn't think to look there. I edit my post in case someone else comes across that issue.

Same issue here. I could see stills on forced alarms, when I set zones, and use that path that was posted earlier that goes directly to the streaming images, but no live streaming. I switched my path to zms streaming server from /cgi-bin/zms-nph to /cgi-bin/zms and I could view live streams right ...

I think I had the same problem using ZM 1.21.4 on debian sarge. Maybe this will help. Everything seemed to work: xawtv gives pictures, no errors in ZM but missing (not black or blue) picture when I try to view any kind of stream. I later found that events were being generated when I put the cam in ...

It's the cam

I got a BNC to RCA adapter and plugged the camera directly into my TV's RCA video in and No Picture. Yes, I gave the cam power too; 12V DC 500mA to be exact. I think the card works (since i'm gettting blue screen instead of black screen). It's just a dead cam. Thanks for your system info. I'm sure ...
