Finally got zoneminder installed, but getting the cameras to work is another story...

The capture card I have can be seen in the very first post of this thread. I will restart my computer to get the board into.

I don't know the answer to the rest of the question, where do I get that info from?

Is there no way to get the linux kernal to see my card?

I tried what you said and it didn't seem to make any difference.

I don't seem to have a video0 in my dev folder.

Hi, I am trying to install zoneminder on ubuntu but am not having any luck. I am trying to follow this guide but its not very clear: http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.php/Ubuntu_7.04 I am now at the bit where it says: had to link the apache.conf file to zoneminder.conf per the readme.deb :- /etc ...
