zmaudit.pl error ... database monitor does not exist ... del

Hi there,

I have managed to install zoneminder 0.9.15 and running zmc -d 0 and zma -m 1 without any problem. Log messages shows that both zmc & zma are capturing well.

However when running zmaudit.pl -y, there is a message "Database monitor 'New' does not exist in filesystem, deleting". I have checked the monitor database (MySQL table) and 'New' was there. I also tried deleting and creating new monitors using different names but the message is still the same (except that the monitor name changed according to the new name).

Did I miss anything?

Hi Rusa,

I wonder if in this might be that the directory for your monitor has not been created yet. This may be because perhaps the permissions do not allow it to be created or perhaps just because it gets created only when required (I can't check the code at the moment). Try generating an event (if you haven't already) and seeing if it gets created then, otherwise check that apache has adequate permissions on the 'events' directory.

Happy New Year 2004!

I was running zmc and zma manually from the command line. I don't know how to create an event yet. I can't even see the images (there wasn't any image file at all at the images directory) eventhough the log messages said that I am capturing at xxx fps. BTW I have checked my capture card and it's OK.

I tried creating a new directory (New) under the bin/events directory but zmaudit.pl still gave the same message.

I used --with-webuser=sevr and --with-webgroup=www during configure, and that's my apache user and group. My bin directory is as follows:
