Zone minder crash

Hello all,

First of all, sorry for my english, (i'm french)

I have install a new 1.29 Zone minder an raspbian on a raspberry P3.
I use 3 cameras ESCAM (@ 5fps and 704 * 576 in RTP/RTSP protocol)
It works fine but the server Zone minder crash (or stop) every 4 hours.... I don't understand why ?

Bonjour!
My French is a bit rusty so I will try my English.

With the P3 you may be running out of memory. Check the space used in the tmpfs especially the area defined by PATH_MAP. If this space is full you need to reduce the resolution of the cameras.

Only to a point. It is a ram disk, so you are limited by ram.

You may be using more ram than needed per camera though. Edit the Monitor and lower the values in the buffers tab, specifically the Image Buffer Size. It defaults to 50, which is actually a lot. It must be more than Pre Event Image Count.

I'm on a raspberry pi 3 so I have 1g of memory I think ?
My hsrae memory is only 458M. Couldn't I extend shared memory for zoneminder ?
How i do that ?

I'm not sure that the size of the memory is the cause of the crashes.
