CentOS 7 installation

Hi all,

Just rebuilt my server with CentOS 7 64bit.

I've read the wiki on installation for CentOS, but it doesn't cover 7 (only going up to 6).

Can I follow the existing installation instructions for CentOS 6 without an issue? Or is there anything I need to watch out for that's different?

I am new to CentOS, was on Ubuntu before, so an idiot's guide would be really appreciated....

The server is already set up and working, ready for the installation.

Instructions for the two most recent redhat distros, including centos 7, using zmrepo can be found here:

Thanks for that!.. That was as easy as 1,2,3!

Please note, one slight deviation from the guidance exists, the Readme that was installed was not .Centos7, but was actually .Redhat7, so the last line of guidance didn't work, but I browsed to the folder and read it anyway.

Guidance from https://zmrepo.zoneminder.com for EL7 from the dropdown list:

Actual installed contents of: /usr/share/doc/zoneminder-1.30.4/

No biggie, as everything was installed nicely, but just thought I'd mention it.
