Zoneminder not showing the live stream rtsp works fine with VLC

Hello all

Ubuntu 16.04

I tried adding a rtsp stream which is working fine when viewed using VLC media player.I tried adding RTSP link through both Remote and ffmpeg.In remote selected RTSP protocol,method RTP/RTSP and added username:password@public ip,port which is 8001 host path/video(as mentioned and worked in VLC) and also tried ffmpeg selected same in source rtsp://username:password@public ip,port which is 8001/video remoted method TCP.

In both the stream is not showing which is perfectly working fine with VLC

Kindly guide how to fix the issue

Hi,

This seems to be appear same issue with me. VLC is working fine using rtsp stream only the live stream is not showing. I still figure it out and searching if there is any other settings need to be done.

I saw the logs it's only showing this error
Message-Socket /var/run/zm/zms-349960s.sock does not exist. This file is created by zms, and since it does not exist, either zms did not run, or zms exited early. Please check your zms logs and ensure that CGI is enabled in apache and check that the PATH_ZMS is set correctly.

The ZMS_path I have is /zm/cgi-bin/nph-zms
