Hi, i have installed zoneminder 1.30.4 ( 2:1.30.4-dmo1+deb9u1) on debian streetch using debian multimedia repository; all monitors are working fine and i have live view just fine, but today i needed to access data from yesterday and i noticed that there are no recording from yesterday. I only have events from today.
Here the status of my server:
Load: 0.4 - Disk: 28% - /dev/shm: 3%
ZoneMinder Console - Running - default v1.30.4
I have a filter to delete files when full
)
but clearly the disk is not full.
The really strange part is that if i enter in the event folder, i can see the folder from yesterday but only for 10 and 11 pm with images, but these images wont appear in the monitor timeline.
Any ideas ?
Recording only daily events even with 75% disk free
Re: Recording only daily events even with 75% disk free
What is the size of your disK?
Are you doing continuous recording with high resolution cameras? If so your disk could hit the 95% full mark and Zoneminder deletes records from the database 100 at a time and zmaudit does not catch up deleting the files so the system thinks that it needs to delete more records and etc. When things finally catch up there are a lot of files to delete and you end up with what you have. If this is the case slow the camera frame rate down to 5 FPS and lower the resolution. Uncheck OPT_FAST_DELETE to delete records and images at the same time.
