not recording video, just many images

I installed ZoneMinder, used ONVIF to find my camera (ffmpeg), and started recording.
It finds my camera fine, but instead of video ZoneMinder is saving each frame individually as a jpeg image!

Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere to tell ZoneMinder to save video instead?
(Ideally I'd just like ZoneMInder to save the h.265 data coming from my camera?)

That's normal behavior. If you want it to save actual videos, I think you have to run the beta version and use x264 pass through.
