Hello, struggling new user here....
How do I view my zoneminder debug logs? (I got close, see screenshot please)
I have installed V1.30.0 on Ubuntu server and am getting errors right from the git go like:
Can't use query result zm_monitor.cpp,
Bogus number of lines lines returned from query...,
No row for monitor 13
(Note: I get these errors even after a fresh install of Ubuntu server and deleting everything on the HDD)
My info:
Followed instructions from: http://zoneminder.readthedocs.io/en/lat ... untu-16-04
Zoneminder v1.30.4
(Ubuntu Server)
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS
Release: 16.04
Codename: xenial
I have included a couple screenshots. Thank you in advance for any help!

Re: How to view the zoneminder debug log
I figured out my issue...
I had Zoneminder installed on 3 different computers all configured exactly alike and running simultaneously. After uninstalling from all computers except the Ubuntu 16.04 server my errors disappeared. But my PC I use for viewing the "montage" mode in the living room would basically time out after being left on for hours on end and cause the "unable to authenticate user" errors to reappear. My solution for this was to install a Firefox add on called ReloadMatic 1.5.0 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... c/?src=api
I set it to automatically reload the page at what ever interval I want and this seems to have cured my particular set up.
Oh and for viewing locally I switched and now use my Lan instead of Wan. Dunno if that actually helps but it makes more sense to me.
BTW: I still haven't figured out how to view the debug logs except in Zoneminder itself. But I'm good for now...
