RAM or SDcard

RAspberry pi 3 :
is zoneminder writes all the images on the SDcard
or in ram for the comparison (modec or monitor) ?

Sorry, try /var/cache/zoneminder which should be on your main drive be it an SD card, SSD or spinning pile of rust.
