I am new to linux but I think the install went as expected.
I created two monitors for the cameras I have when I go to the camera I just see a broken tiny icon at the top,
Any help welcome.

Just installed ZM, cams detected but all I see is a broken tiny icon where the image should be

Linux distro and version. Version of Zoneminder. Instructions used to install Zoneminder?

Ubuntu by chance? I just had this same issue. if you right click on the broken image and view it.
you should get something like this http://10.0.0.206/zm/cgi-bin/nph-zms?... or do you get something like http://10.0.0.206/cgi-bin/nph-zms
If its the latter go to Options --> Paths --> path_ZMS and change /cgi-bin/nph-zms to /zm/cgi-bin/nph-zms and if its the same as my issue it will be fixed.
