Hello all,
I am transitioning from Intelligent Home from Spectrum since they are discontinuing the camera recording feature. I currently have 4 cameras which are wireless, but they don't work with ZM. For these cameras, I already have Ethernet running from the camera to a power outlet for each one. I'd like to avoid rewiring, and was wondering if there were any recommendations on the best way to proceed?
Ideally, is there a decent wireless day/night camera which can use the existing Ethernet wire for power? I'm not concerned with a camera which can move/zoom, etc... Just a stationary camera which I'll point where I want it. I'll likely have motion triggers when there is activity...
Any advice on the best way to proceed would be great!
Thanks,
Steven
Cable Company Camera Replacement Recommendation
Re: Cable Company Camera Replacement Recommendation
If they are IP cameras there is a good chance they will work with Zoneminder. One test is to use VLC. If you can get them to steam with VLC they will work with Zoneminder.

They are LG Innotek, but I couldn't find any information. Contacted LG who declined support because they are business to business only.
