I think at one point I was able to see alarming pixels in real time, which is useful for debugging.
But now I can't figure out how.
I find this reference in the wiki section on "Defining Zones":
"Alarm Colour
These parameters can be used to individually colorize the zone overlay pattern. Alarms in this zone will be highlighted in the alarm colour. This option is irrelevant for Preclusive and Inactive zones and will be disabled."
But it's not clear this reference applies to my question. It seems to address two different issues: colorizing the zone overlay pattern, which does work, and highlighting alarmed pixels, which would pertain to my question but which I cannot seem to access.
What am I missing?
Currently running 1.30.4 under Xubuntu 17.10 i n Modect mode, watching streams and configuring from a remote laptop.
How, which view, can I see alarmed pixels highlighted in real time?

ZM doesn't offer this functionality at this time.
In my dev branch you can mouse over a thumbnail and it will show the alarmed images in motion, but not in event view.

Hmmm, must have been a distant memory either from a standalone (ie: Zmodo) SVR or, more likely, from the Windows "equivalent" of ZM (forget the name).
Thanks again!

iSpy and iSpyConnect are possibly the Windows version you are thinking of.
