Minimum record time?

Is there such a thing as a minimum event record time? I have tried adjusting the buffers but it doesn't seem to do it. On some cameras I would like ZM to record a few seconds before and quite a few after the alarm event. TIA!!!

you are rin the right area how many seconds pre alarm and post alarm do you want and at what framerate you capturing?

on most of the cameras I have the maximum fps set to 10 or 15, I would like something like 5-8 seconds before and around 30 seconds after. When I increase the buffers to what "should" be that ammount of frames I never get any events.

Increase to what you want and restart. You may have to adjust your shared memory and thats why you are not getting events. If you check the zmdc.log I bet you'll find shmget errors. See the FAQ.
