have seen other members on here trying to create a lighter on server local montage. I have been playing with xawtv and can load multiple instances and zm will still capture and record etc. The problem i have is that when switching on my single chip card to another input all instances of xawtv switch to this input. I was hoping i could stop this but havnt as yet. My reason for looking at this was to open say 4 instances of xawtv each on a different channel, remove the borders from the windows and then set them to fill the screen. Is this a waste of time, would the grabbing of images via shared memory be better and lighter on power etc.

The problem is xaetv and the like all look at the stdout of the card and not what is buffered in memory. So when ZM switchs the input xawtv sees it as well.

damn lol ok ill keep looking go to be simple work around for this
