Change StorageAreas to Master

What general steps do I need to switch StorageAreas to Master, just switching out the PPA ?
I have a general Idea with using the same DB.
Any Ideas

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:iconnor/zoneminder-master
sudo apt-get install zoneminder

the update can take a while if you have a lot of logs in the Logs table but is otherwise fairly painless.
The biggest thing is that we moved timezone setting from php.ini to Options->Timezone so you will have to set your timezone,

Hi, is the funcitonnality of storage areas included in the master ppa? Should I just switch to he master ppa or the storage-areas ppa will be updated too?
