hi new here so HI
installed 1.32 one ubuntu 18.04 an ran it for a few weeks tinkering with
cameras and configurations having a great time. Due to a conflict
with NV Card I put in I decided to do upgrade to 1.34 and fully clean
install.
I can only see and access an hours worth of event in hour/day/week/month. Archived events still show.
doesn't matter which one it will only list the last hour
the apache time zone was suggested but I did that in that install
No clues in the logs
only an hours worth of events seen

What are your hardware specs? Processor, RAM, HD? What instructions did you use to install? Database? Web server?pagan_ninny wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 11:47 am still haven't resolved this

Re: only an hours worth of events seen
Thanks for getting back to me
It's an old box I had and 1.32 was fine - i was using other CCTV software
decided I like zoneminder so
I did a clean install of Ubuntu 18.04 desktop and latest updates
and the installation instruction on the Zoneminder site
configuring apache timezone etc
Nothing else is going on the box
https://zoneminder.readthedocs.io/en/st ... -04-bionic
just can't see beyond an hour

Your storage is 92% full... so the Purge When Full script is probably deleting everything.

Thank you
I now think there could be a system issue.
Seems i'm stuck at that disk usage after offloading any unwanted packages
and downloads and disk space isn't changing.
I'm going to look some more but i'm not think it's Zoneminder
unless something has snatched disk space.

Re: only an hours worth of events seen
thank you for the support
seemed there was a folder in the zoneminder events folder from a previous monitor that wasn't
being purged - I assume the 'clean' install was not as clean as I thought - probably my error
so that's one for the learning curve. So I was assuming the disk had been fully erased so didn't cross
my mind
many thanks
