A few problems w/ Fedora

Fedora 1 , ZM version 1.17.1 and Hauppauge WinTv BTTV card using composite input.
I just discovered ZM and it's my first time setting it up.
Sorry, I'm 'new'. I built it without any problems and have mysql setup properly.
When I login as 'admin/admin' I see "Warning: Division by zero in /var/www/html/zm_html_view_console.php on line 62"
on the main screen. I cannot start the console from that webpage.
If I use the 'zm' init script I get:

[root@athlon init.d]# ./zm start
Starting ZoneMinder: Bareword "ZM_PATH_LOGS" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at /usr/local/bin/zmpkg.pl line 62.
BEGIN not safe after errors--compilation aborted at /usr/local/bin/zmpkg.pl line 63.

my device is /dev/video0 [confirmed with xawtv] and if I start it manually:
zmc -d /dev/video0
nothing happens.

Not sure where to go with this. Should I try the 0.9.16 version?

httpd-2.0.48-1.2 and php-4.3.4-1.1 both from rpm

Hi Kevin,

This sounds like your database is not set up properly. Did you remember to run zmconfig.pl (twice) and have you created your database?

Hi Philip,
I was able to run with your help.
After a fresh install of mysql and zoneminder,
I ran zmconfig.pl again and now it's running fine.
One trivial problem is when I restart mysqld from the Fedora init script, it delays
for abouot 10 seconds and then reports failed -but- mysqld is running and everything
is fine. The zm webpage is taking input now.
Now I need to search the forum for bttv config's.
