Images not deleted when using filter Purge when disk full

I am using a filter Purge when disk full, the filter is set to 50% and it works for many years. But after upgrading to version 1.35.16 the filter only clears the database entries but all the images still remain on disk. So Zoneminder is not recording anymore because when something is recorded the disk space reach always the 50% because all the older images are still on the disk and the filter is start and clears the database entries again. When i try to delete entries from the console screen it works so the permissions are OK

Recheck your filter. There may be some changes you need to make.

I checked the filter many times but can not find what is wrong.

It is set when disk percent is greater the 50 Purge all first 800 entries.

It is removing the entries but only from the database and not the images.

Have you tried fewer than 800? That's a lot for one pass.
Any clues in zmfilter.log?

Just tried set to 200 entries but no difference. The entries are removed from the database but images still remains on disk

Emptied trash? (not sure what all you've done.)
How did you install, on what Linux system?
You speak of images - what all are you recording, and is anything being deleted from disk? Like .mp4 or just .jpg?

The system is running on a Ubuntu 16.04 server for many years without any problem but after update to the 1.35.16 version the problem start.

Just tried to delete all the filters and setup them again, maybe this will help.

Have you run zmaudit? Do you have fast deletes on?

Older versions of Zoneminder ran zmaudit periodically to check and clean the database and stored events. While I have not done an update to an older running version of Zoneminder I do know that 1.35.x has RUN_AUDIT disabled by default. OPT_FAST_DELETE should be disabled.

You can clean out the old events by enabling RUN_AUDIT and waiting or you can run zmaudit.pl from a command terminal:

This is also not deleting my images

But it seems renew all the the filters does the job
