Panasonic BL-C10 netcam Works

Post by Baylink »

After a fashion. I had some trouble getting zmc to cooperate with it with authentication turned on, so fot his first install, I enabled Guest Mode in the camera setup.

Host: [IP address]
Port: 80
Path: /snapshotjpeg?Resolution=320x240&Quality=Clarity

I tried nphMotionJpeg (and, by experiment, that first component of the path is *not* case sensitive), but after I got all my other problems sorted, that one was giving me binary blorch in the syslog as zmc error messages (actual message to follow; 6 day project; tired now).

I also discovered that the sign of the degree offset for setting home-position pan is counterintuitive (which ought to be enough hint to anyone who has to set one up :-).

More to follow as I tune it.

320x200 is a bit of a weird resolution. I have a different Panasonic PTZ cam, the KX-HCM10 which I'm very impressed with and which was easy to set up. I'm planning to geta BLC-10 when funds permit but it sounds completely different than the one i have.

Nope; only in my little, tired mind. 240. Edited to fix. Can't even type tonight...
