Debian Repo Update
Debian Repo Update
I made my DB backup and got ready to update to the 1.36.x branch, but it looks like the debian repo doesn't have the updated packages yet. Is that correct?
I'm running bullseye specifically, but I also tried the buster repo to no avail.

Re: Debian Repo Update
I switched to this repo:
I updated from 1.34.25 to 1.36 and it's working fine here. Now however it says 1.37 is available in the master branch?
Isn't master supposed to be stable branch?
Any disadvantage?

Re: Debian Repo Update
yeah stick with 1.36.0 if you want a stable system as 1.37.0 is going to have changes being development. I wouldn't take 1.36.1 a present as a few of us have seen a few things that need looking at
Enjoy the new 1.36.0 interface improvements !

Yeah, my 1.36 boxes are showing a ready update to 1.37....not 1.36.1

Re: Debian Repo Update
Master is always the leading edge where any new changes are merged first, it relates to GitHub master branch, so for production systems best to stay with releases which are always even numbers (1.34, 1.36). Right now 1.36.1 and 1.37 are identical so a good time to roll back to 1.36 if you need to.

Re: Debian Repo Update
Well, we did indeed get the 1.36.0 release finally. I haven't pointed my repo to master because I don't want the devel branch. Again though, we're missing another release (although just a minor this time). It seems the debian repos continually get forgotten. I'm not seeing 1.36.1 now.
Re: Debian Repo Update
Debian is always behind, new version is 1.36.2, but repo has still 1.36.0
Re: Debian Repo Update
It's really pretty unfortunate. Seems like they could have a CI pipeline to just build the packages and push them for them...

Re: Debian Repo Update
Great! 1.36.3 was fast
Re: Debian Repo Update
I have one report that the resulting install is actually 1.37.0. Fear not, The difference at this time is minimal and the next update will fix the stored version #.
