I cannot see single video a blue picture

Hello I am new in linux I have been time treating to install zm Have a card kodicom Brooktree bt878. the problem is q I cannot see video. Single I see a blue picture. Install ZMliveCD_1.21.3. when it installs the capturadora card appeared to me 4 icons in the writing-desk TVTime BT878 video (Askey CPH061/BEST. when I open them single appears a blue picture. Somebody can help me if ojala in espanol is something of information Thanks

first of all you need to able to see live images from your capture card before zm will be able to capture. You need to find out what card number your card is under bttv. I dont know the kodicom card but maybe if you search here you will find the info you need.

I have error in de step 5

5) Compile the v4l drivers, i.e.
cd /usr/src/video4linux
make
make install

to it executes make I have the following message

for_device' from incompatible pointer type
make[2]: *** [/usr/src/video4linux/bttv-driver.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [_module_/usr/src/video4linux] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.7-2.tmb.6mdk'
make: *** [default] Error 2

It looks like there is a bit of the error message missing, before the part that was posted.
