when are event images deleted?

I have event configuration so that the event itself is deleted when emailed. I notice that the event images themselves remain available for sometimes, then they also get deleted. when does the image deletion occur? did I set that?

id assume that the filter wont delete the images until they have been emailed or qat least the email part run. Also delete just deletes then from the database, zmcleanup (whatever its called) the tidies up and deletes the actual images from the drive sometime later. is that what you meant?

I see. makes sense that's what I am seeing. is the cleanup frequency configurable?

i dont know i will have another look at the manual

you can alter how often the filters run i think the defualt is every 300 seconds

zmfilter.pl will delete the records from the database, once a minute is the default I think. Then zmaudit.pl will come along later to remove the files and other stuff from the db. You can turn off fast deletes in the options if you want zmfilter to do it all.
