IR lighting on/off depending on image brightness

Post by edurenye »

Hi,

I have a Chinese IP camera with a hi3518e chipset, it supports IR lightning, and with an Android app that came with the camera I can activate and deactivate it. But I wonder how I could do it from ZoneMinder and if there would be any way to make the IR lights turn on when the image is too dark and on when the image is too bright. Is it possible to do that? And if so, how can I do it?

Thank you in advance!

So it doesn't have built-in IR cut?
Unless there's a zm feature I'm not aware of, I don't think so.
