New testing PPA

Post by iconnor »

I have created a new PPA which contains the latest stable release + fixes that will go in the next release. So that I can get some testing before release. Thing of it as release candidates builds.

So the current contents are what will go into 1.36.11

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:iconnor/zoneminder-proposed

What does /dev/shm have to do with anything?

In the present version 1.37.1, you (?) replaced it with:

Yeah, that's 1.37.

This is a post in the 1.36 group about a testing ppa for 1.36 stable releases.

1.36 doesn't get new features. Just fixes.

Had a problem installing on mint 20.2. A link wasn't created to Zoneminder.conf in conf-enabled. fixed with sudo a2enmod rewrite then created a link to zoneminder.conf and restarting apache2

Just pushed a bunch more fixes and some code to reduce ram use while recording.

I feel it needs a bit of testing before release. Please let me know if you see anything weird.
