I resurrected an old PC to run ZM LiveCD, installed to the hard drive... So far so good.
I have the parts here or on the way to set it up as a dual processor "museum" machine, with dual Pentium II 450's (woohoo )
Will the LiveCD version of ZM recognize two processors and utilize them both? Would I have to reinstall, or worse yet, build my own kernel?
SemiNOOB alert
Is ZM LiveCD Dual Processor Capable?

i dont know but am very interested how it performs. Id just try it set it up first with just 1 cpu do a little testing and see what you get from top re ave loads and proc usage. Then enable the second and do the same. I have used the livecd in the past but have moved on slightly, but the distro i use in mandrake based, and it took advantage of hyperthreading so i would assume livecd will too. Ross is your man but u might be better posting live cd stuff in the licecd forum

Check and see if the kernel installed is smp (has smp in the package name) if it installed then you are good to go. I think the live CD though is based on the image it was installed with so good probablility that it is not.
Probably be best to post the question to the Live CD topic for Ross.

It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt.

Thanks folks.
I will go over there right now and post. Sorry for posting to the wrong group!
BTW, how do I check my kernel package name? I thought I used APT with DamnSmallLinux or Synaptic to install packages, but those were specific to DSL I'm pretty sure.
