No dropdown for (Monitor, MODECT, etc) see screenshot. Why is this???

I just setup ZM on a small and slow thin client desktop compjuter and for some reason there's no function drop down and I can't change the setting for the camera. What can I do to fix this?

That’s the 1.37 development release. Possibly normal.

oh no! Is there a way to go to an older version? Or... is there a way to change the setting. I would like to use MODect.

Modect is equivalent to : Capturing=Always, Analysis=Always, Recording = On Motion

You can go back to 1.36 simply by:
sudo apt-get remove zoneminder
sudo add-apt-repository -r ppa:zoneminder-master
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:zoneminder-1.36
sudo apt-get install zoneminder
