I'm novice and i would like you explain what is ZoneMinder LiveCD exactly ?
complete distrib with ZoneMinder , tools chains ? ......

complete live cd is a complete distro with working zm too. Just load the disc as is and you will get a working system without hard disk modification

if i understand , kernel and all bin for zoneminder are loaded on RAM and all HD are not modified ?

Does it use ramdisk for the mysql db as well?

yes it has too. As it has no other read write memory to use.
