Just recieved on of the 4 port 1 chip cards from y3kcctv for the grand old price of about £80.
Card is as top of this page: http://www.y3kvision.com/acatalog/3k48.html
For £80 you get a completely unbranded card with a Fusion 878a chip on it.
And (just my luck) a picture output rather like this:
(it is a nighttime shot but there are two card in the FOV of the camera; in the pic, you see one car three times. )
So (says I crossing fingers) has anyone had any success with this card and if so can you please give me a clue how to fix it?
Y3KCCTV 4 port 1 chip card - any sucess with it?
Sorry to answer my own question but..........
The card was being detected as a BT878 ***UNKNOWN GENERIC***
So, being upset that it wasn't working, I thought, I'll have a 'luck-dip'.
I set: modprobe bttv card=77,77,77,77
Boomshanka! - worked first time
So just for future reference for other ZM users, the card from Y3KCCTV unbranded in blue and sometimes referred to as an X-View works as card=77
Now, with so much good fortune in one gamble, I'll have to stay away from the fruit-machines for a month (never have luck like that twice )
