Hello everyone
Firstly I'm using multiple servers, so not your typical setup. But hopefully that's not a concern.
Having had my setup running for a number of years now, it's be working fantastic. I've decided to have a go at using the Sub stream of my cameras to perform the motion detection, hoping it'll help to reduce my CPU load across the servers.
Here's the basics of how I understand what's needed.
Main Stream - Nodect and linked to the Sub Stream
Sub Stream - Modect
The issue I have is that the Main Stream doesn't get triggered when the Sub Stream detects motion and starts to record. Is there something I've missed or have I miss understood someting?

Re: Linked monitor function not working as expected
When linked monitors work, it's great. Unfortunately, they don't always work... dropped/missed events, etc.
What I've done to 'replace' linked monitors is:
Live view is, unfortunately, displayed at the low resolution. In Montage it's fine, since the images are smaller. The events display in high resolution.

What I've done to 'replace' linked monitors is:
- use only RTSP cameras
save events in Camera Passsthrough mode
In camera Source, set resolution to 640x360
Live view is, unfortunately, displayed at the low resolution. In Montage it's fine, since the images are smaller. The events display in high resolution.
