Modect Vs Mocord

I am running version 1.21.3 of zoneminder and I am having problems capturing when there is motion.

If I use Mocord, it captures the video feed fine and when there is motion, the alarm frames increment as well as the score. I have set the section lenght to 10 minutes.

Well, I didn't want to record all of the video that doesn't have any motion in it, so I changed to to Modect. Now it doesn't capture anything at all.

Any ideas on what is wrong?

Did you adjust your zones?

Is the machine accessable over the net?
If it is would you be willing to let me or someone else here take a peek at it?

Never mind, it is working now.

I changed from Modect to Mocord, restarted the server, went back to Modect and restarted the server and now it started to record with Modect.

Strange, I left all of the other settings the same and now it works.
