WARNING: MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT is deprecated

Hello all.

I have been trying different CCTV solutions for my home and it's Zoneminder's turn.

This is a new install on a VM running Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, 4 CPU, 16GB RAM, installed from the wiki instructions.

Everything seems to be working for my 3 cameras but I noticed /var/log/apache2/error.log is reporting lots of the same errors.

Is this something that needs to be fixed in zm or apache?

It is something for us to fix. They released a securiyt update for mysql which included that notice like 2 days ago. Fix is already in master, will hopefully update 1.36 soon.

Was this ever pushed to the ppa? I am seeing this error over a month later.

I installed 1.36.32 in april or may of 2023. do i need to do some kind of update to incorporate this fix? if so how do i do it?

Current release is 1.36.33, and there's a "proposed" 1.36.34

I think the proposed above became .33 release.
