Tuya Smart Camera

Post by hornetster »

Not sure if this is where I ask questions about camera brands, but:
Have a Nextech QC3864 camera which uses the Tuya app to setup.
Anyone have any ideas on the settings required for this camera/how to find the correct settings?
Not much info about.
Agent DVR is supposed to have "built in support", but have downloaded and unable to get to connect.
Assuming it needs some sort of username/password combo, but can't find any info on this either..
Have played with onvif settings, as well, with no luck.

Thanks.

If you know or can find the camera IP address, try a browser to that and see what you get. Let us know.

If asked to log in, user name and password are often "admin" . It/they may be listed at ispyconnect.com

Yep, know the ip, but connecting through a browser gives me nothing.
Have also run nmap, and there are 2 ports open, but trying to connect in a browser to them, also gives me nothing.
Have used telnet to try and connect also.
1 of the ports connects, gives message about escape character, and disconnects about 30seconds later.
The other port similarly connects, and seems to stay connected for a longer time...
Unfortunately, don't know the tricks to telnet..., or what to do next... :?

Thanks.

I'm afraid that's one of the ones that's locked down to a cloud server or something.
Looking at the jaycar page it doesn't say anything about being compatible with local storage. That's a selling point, if it's capable.
iSpy lists this:1080P, QC-3856 FFMPEG http:// /
so probably your QC3864 is a mystery.
Feel free to do your own searches, of course...

Sure.
If you figure it out, you could post your findings in the hardware section.
