Linked cameras sometimes not working

I no longer used linked monitors... they were too flakey.

What I do now is I monitor the high res stream, but I tell Zoneminder it's low res. So, my camera is 1080P or more, in the Source settings I tell Zoneminder it's 640x360. Zoneminder automatically resizes and does detection on the low res image, which saves a ton of CPU. I then set Storage settings to camera passthrough (another huge savings in CPU).

So detection and montage/live view are all on the 640x360 image, but any saved events are at full resolution.

This gives me excellent CPU usage, and excellent quality saved events.

I never even thought of something like this... wow... I'm going to try it on my dad's setup. I'm actually, after almost 20 years, moving on to a Unifi setup. It will be somewhat bittersweet, but you just can't beat the ecosystem. It's amazing.

Wow, I had never thought of that before, testing it now and it seems like a great solution!

I see in the logs a warning about the dimensions not matching but it doesn't seen to cause any issues...

So one thing I've noticed, I'm getting a ton of these warnings now:

I'm on 1.36.33 too and it's doing it on all of my cameras now that've scaled down the image size to something smaller than what the camera is actually sending. I will try to figure out what it means.

So I think it may have been my H.264 audio stream encoding... will watch the log to see if they're permanently gone

Please update. Current version should not complain about mismatch and should also auto-detect the reorder queue size.
I'm working on a separate setting for live view size vs motion detection size so that you can still have full res live view. Should free up even more ram/cpu.

I'm not seeing an update to 1.36.33.

I had issues upgrading to 1.37, but that was a while back.

It’s a feature that’s just in 1.37, not 1.36.
