It shows no events, error in log, but I have event files

Post by homebrewdude »

This is the error.
Seems like it is recording and keeping data, just not seeing the events.

I believe there were a couple of 1.37.47 builds - are you sure you have the latest?
And what screen was this error on if so? If you have montage, the review should work, too. At least in my experience.

I have a machine that is generating those errors as well. It's on my todo list to look into.

I believe I have the latest.
This is the Montage Review.

If I look in my zoneminder folder, I have files within the limits of my filter for age.

It stays "no event"? Is that the live view or after you select a time range? If after, the time cursor can be out of range.
Are you in mocord or modect?

I do get some of that from time to time, but not for more than a couple minutes, and just one or maybe two cameras, typically from a WiFi or power glitch. I'm in mocord.

It's Mocord and I selected 8hour.

I also use ZmNinja. And it just gives an error "error retrieving Event List". And shows nothing.

OK. But do you see the cams live before you select 8 hour?

I have had some zoneminder updates, and I thought it was fixed. But now I have this.

Live cameras look fine.
If I got to Montage it seems ok, but it almost makes zoneminder lock-up
Montage Review shows no events.

And I get this error in log when I select montage.

Generally that is caused by api not being correctly configured.

I ended up removing and reinstalling zoneminder. All good now.
