Hi there - I have been running 4 cameras in Record mode just fine using the PurgeWhenFull filter (archive status - unarchived only; AND disk percent Great or Equal to 96%; Sort by Date/Time Descending; limit to first 2 results only). This is what has happened:
26 Oct through Nov 1st - recording fine
nothing from Nov 1st until Nov 6th
... Little bit of activity Nov 6th, then nothing
... then recording again from 0930 am!
Unless I am going totally mental I did not switch the box off....and on ... then off then on
I know this to be a fact because the server is in our bathroom and I can hear it loudly all the time!
has this happened to anyone?

If you have logwatch installed try checking your root email for those times. Logwatch will mail the root user information on the system including drive capacities.
Also check your logs (zmdc.log, zmaudit.log, messages, etc...) and see if anything was logged in that time.
Feel free to post any suspsious errors during that time frame here on the forum and we will do our best to assist.
Regards,
Cordel

This gives new meaning to the filter with the name of FlushEvents...8ace wrote:I know this to be a fact because the server is in our bathroom and I can hear it loudly all the time!
I have the same setup, but haven't checked lately. Last time I looked, it was going fine; I'll check again though.
