Oftten i can see , when doing an install on a fresh system, missing dependencies.

why can't you people put missing dependencies like zlib or others with zoneminder ?

Doing a pack would be fine. to simplify the things, at least on debian.

diferent distro need diferent libs, and im sure if this was a bit of software you purchased you would get all that work done for you. There are prebuilt zm's like cordel ctu zm and ross's live cd that do all this for you.

If you would like to package all the libraries and the Correct versions id be happy to host the file on my server for you

If you see something missing which you think should be in ZM then feel free to add it yourself and send the changes to me to include. That's the beauty of open source, anyone can make changes or add things, not just me :D
