Version 1.36.33
1. I have three cameras and have set up separate monitors for each, for hi-rez and lo-rez. Lo-rez is analyzing in MOCORD and hi-rez is set to NODECT with link to lo-rez. Thing is, the two Dahua cameras' hi-rez monitors are capturing all the time, and the Hik is not (as I think should be correct). All are set the same. How can this be?
2. For each hi-rez I have Storage|Encode|Auto. But when I try to view an Event it says the video format is not supported. Is this because it's recording in h.265? Firefox v125.0.2 is supposed to support h.265. When I manually set to h.264 I can view events. I have the x265 package installed. What could be wrong?
3. I want to use AI with bounding boxes. But I find that there seem to be at least two types:
When I tried to use ESS before I could not get bounding boxes, to save my life. And I got stuck on hooks.
Has anyone tried DarkNet? Is there successful guidance on either?
4. With using either AI system how would I set the monitors in ZM?
5. Has anyone gotten LPR working? If so which system? And is there a reference doc?
Capturing in NODECT, Encode in Auto, Which AI?
Re: Capturing in NODECT, Encode in Auto, Which AI?
I am not aware of firefox supporting h265.
Re: Capturing in NODECT, Encode in Auto, Which AI?
Ok that makes sense then. Although I'd understood that spewtube runs exclusively h.265.
I wish that we had the choice of AV1.

Re: Capturing in NODECT, Encode in Auto, Which AI?
Shit. I'll just do my own research and fix it the best way I can find, and keep it to myself then. Since this is how it is.
Re: Capturing in NODECT, Encode in Auto, Which AI?
In 1.37 you can use av1.
Re: Capturing in NODECT, Encode in Auto, Which AI?
O! That is good news indeed, thank you Isaac.
Any thoughts on my other questions?

Re: Capturing in NODECT, Encode in Auto, Which AI?
I have setup AI and LPR on my systems from time to time. It is never trivial. The googleable docs are what there is.
Your only real options are zmes or @baudneo's zomi-client|server stuff.
I don't actaully know what darknet is although I've seen the term lots.
