This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

It was created by configure, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.59. Invocation command line was

$ ./configure --with-webdir=/var/www/html/zm --with-cgidir=/var/www/cgi-bin

configure:1808: WARNING: You can call configure with the --with-ffmpeg option.
This tells configure where to find the ffmpeg root directory within which are the libavcodec
and libavformat files that can be used to build true MPEG streaming into ZoneMinder. Ensure that
your copy of ffmpeg has installed libraries as well as binaries (use 'make installlib'). If you
are using a local install of ffmpeg you may have to remove or rename a previous real installation
as the headers and libraries from that will probably be picked up before your local copy.
e.g. --with-ffmpeg=/usr/local
configure:1839: WARNING: You can call configure with the --with-lame option.
This tells configure where to find the Lame library which can be used by the ffmpeg libraries

the ffmpeg package itself with the --enable-mp3lame option and if the normal link cannot
find the library. Using mp3lame is not necessary or of any benefit to ZoneMinder per se.
e.g. --with-lame=/use/local/lib

I think this

Code: Select all

configure:1974: checking for gcc
configure:2003: result: no
configure:2054: checking for cc
configure:2083: result: no
configure:2096: checking for cc
configure:2142: result: no
configure:2195: checking for cl
configure:2224: result: no
configure:2238: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
is your problem. Basically it is saying you don't have a compiler on your system, or if you do it's not in any of the directories on your path. I don't know where (or even if) the compiler is on the LiveCD.

You need to wait for the package for the live CD. I t is possible to build from source but you really should know what your doing to bring the live CD up to have that ability.

I'll be working on the package here shortly for CTU/FC and LiveCD. Once done Ross will look it over and make sure I didn't miss anything and he will release the package.

i thought i had speed issues with ctu but its a setup thing, you need to turn off analysing etc and then its as fast as live cd, and supports more hardware

Well sorry guys, I just got dispatched out so I'll be out for a bit. So soon as I get back from work I'll be all over the RPM. I might forgo updating the ffmpeg package as I am having some issues getting it to package. I'll have to go throught the spec and figure it out.
