edit a monitor when ZM wont start?
I have had a drive fail. Several of my monitors were pointed at a storage path on that dead drive. Now of course, ZM wont start. How can I edit the monitors to point them to a working storage without ZM running?

Can you just put another drive in its place to get it started?
I've had ZM start before when a drive was too full, can't say I've had an issue with a completely failed drive.
Just wondering if that's the cause of ZM failing to start or if you have another issue...
But I have to ask is this really an issue with 1.37.x? You might want to look at posting this in a different section of the forum, this doesn't sound like a 1.37.x issue to me...

Yep, that was the problem. New hard drive inbound via UPS..... The drive was totally corrupted. I unmounted it, then created a folder with the same name, and ZM started up. And its behaving much better ever since. I think this drive has been giving me problems for some time, and I didnt realize what was the root cause.lightguy48 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2024 10:23 pm Can you just put another drive in its place to get it started?

Re: edit a monitor when ZM wont start?
Just manually update Monitors table in mysql database 'zm' accordingly. You'll need to change the StorageId to the Id of your working storage for those monitors, and that's it.alabamatoy wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2024 5:29 pm I have had a drive fail.
