Hello,
I just got a c200 camera . It' seems to only work with its own software so far. Is there any way to define this camera into the ZoneMinder 1.34x? Please guide me.
How to define c200 camera into ZoneMinder
Re: How to define c200 camera into ZoneMinder
I have a TP-Link 'Tapo' C200 as well. I have managed to get my video streams appearing in ZM, albiet still can't make the ONVIF PTZ controls work in ZM. I can't go into great detail,.. but I'll throw out some tips that may get go going in the right direction. (gotta go do yard work!)
a/ dig into the camera settings in your Tapo app and find "sharing". Here you can setup a user account (username and password) in the camera, that allows third party things to log into it via your LAN.
b/ in ZM start the process of adding a new monitor. (goto console > add ). Here, in the upper right of the window are a row of three icons. If you hover mouse over the middle one, hover-help "ONVIF" appears. Click that icon and wait a few seconds. ZM probes the network looking for ONVIF compatible cameras, and hopefully offers a list of things you can connect to.
hope that helps, good luck.
sidenote,
In VLC media player you should be also be able to test the camera stream by going to "media">"open network stream",.. and then putting a URL in this form into the "network URL" box.
rtsp://[cam_username]:[cam_password]@[camera_IP_address]:[port]/stream2
note: [port] = 554 on my system. You can try "stream1" and "stream0" too.
