IOS App Issue

I'm getting the following error when trying to configure the iOS app:

Login Validated but API Failed

I have set up the desktop app successfully, and I have used the same configuration values, so I know my API is set up correctly.

Currently my zm installation is exposed only on my local network, and using HTTP. Do I need to open it up and/or use HTTPS? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Double check your settings. I have seen the app change what you have entered.

If it works with desktop it should work with the app. It's the same code.
