Button video play overlayed with zoom button

Post by busymind »

Does not seems reported here, if we use a touch screen (or even with mouse) the play button being behind Zoom Minus is difficult to access it.

Yes, that's right.
Your suggestions? The "Play" button is standard in the player and its location cannot be changed.
My suggestion is not to use this button, but to control playback with the control buttons under the image.

I'll think again.
But I wanted to do it once, but I couldn't.

ADD: Oh, I probably wanted to hide it, but I never started doing it. I know how to hide it...
I remembered! There is a small problem. For example, when you refresh the page, the playback does not start automatically. I will deal with this problem.

It is nearly impossible to deal with the page reload problem, unless the user changes the settings for the page to allow auto play. Best we can do is popup saying how to do that.

Sorry for late reply, leave it, but in the middle IMHO, it's big, it's like the other buttons +, -, it's accessible.
I just seen this

Well, if no control over player, I understand, I thought is somewhere in css. After upgrade I do not see it now.
Design perspective ... hiding it is fine or move + add minus if control over.
Next time I will try to propose solutions also if I can :) cheers.

I fixed the player behavior.
https://github.com/ZoneMinder/zoneminder/pull/4237

As a side effect :) - now the standard "Play" button of the "videojs" player should not be displayed.

Seems working much better, I had tested further, I just reported here with some pictures

1. On a windows station with Nvidia T300 card and the view and clipping mentioned is not appearing - Firefox. All smooth.
2. Linux, clipping seems appearing only on this linux station running linux nvidia driver with GPU activated - Firefox. Does not bother me, I just report it.
3. On macmini is fine, Safari is fine, however in Firefox the play button on corner left is still appearing. I have cleared the browser cache just in case (started normal mode and private mode) same results.
I know is the battles of the browsers and scripting - usual stuff. I know I use Firefox personally.
Zoneminder 1.37.66 latest at this hour.

Cheers
