IQinvision Megapixel

Post by svaliv49 »

Hi forum,

has anybody tried the cameras from IQinvision (www.iqeye.com)? They have Megapixel resolution going up to 2048x1536!
Can Zoneminder handle that?

Thanks for answering,

Ivan

it can handle it but i have never used one of these cameras. Bear in mind processing of images at this resolution needs a damn fast subsystem and dont expect it to be able to do 16 of them lol

If you try one id love to know how they do in low light

I know! I am working with IQinvision for about one year, but still cannot find a good software solution for IP cameras. Thanks for reminding me of the need for a good system.

If you want to see some pictures at nighttime I can send you some, just let me know!

has anyone gotten this cam to work?

Post by halcom »

the iqeye ipcam, feeds a raw image by going to the ip address /now.jpg
howeve, zm only displays a black image. I looked at the logs, and in zmwatch.log I get a time out error, I ran an nmap scan and have port 80, 2001, 3001, and 7000 open.

anyone have any ideas?
