zmconfig.pl chokes on entering an email address with an @ at-sign, and instead leaves it to blank. Unfortunately it won't take an email address without an at-sign in it either. I am using zm-1.18.1
I tried to escape it with a backslash, various quotes, but no go.
>Backslash found where operator expected at (eval 34) line 1, near "$1\"
> (Missing operator before \?)
(and the same for the following two email addresses)
I edited zmconfig.txt manually and entered the email addresses with the at-sign escaped by a backslash, and then did a -noi and it didn't complain.
Another minor annoyance is the width, height questions. The default of 0 doesn't work. You have to actually enter a 0 (or other number) for it to be accepted.
What width should each monitor in the montage view be (integer) [0] :
Invalid input, please re-enter or type '?' for help.
(sorry about the previous blank thread... new to this forum)

Re: email addresses can't be entered in zmconfig.pl
Hi Sean,
zmconfig.pl is a bit of a hangover from previous versions. You should find it much easier to fill in the rest of the config from the web interface once you've answered the few handful of questions.
