use record setting and a frame skip of 23
That way it should
record snapshot, skip 12 frames then snapshot, skip 12, snapshot etc etc

it would only work in record mode as when in anything else it would ignore the skip rate when in alarm

Depends on which browser. in firefox you have to set the network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server -> to 17 for 16 cameras
This will allow you to view all your cameras.
Frame skip should work in any of the modes and you can uncheck ignore max FPS in your setting so that it respects your max FPS even in alarm.
