While I'm a brand new user I thought it might be helpful to make a note of a few places where things could be a bit easier (for me!) to use without any further underlying functionality:
Browsing events and deciding which are interesting:
- could there be next/prev event links within the playback window to save returning to the events list?
- after a Delete or Archive could zm automatically move to the next event?
Tabbed browsing (I use Mozilla-firefox with its tabbed interface):
- could there be a setting to stop resizing of the browser window?
(currently it resizes the whole browser which includes all the other tabs that are open so, for example,
the console is resized when I open a monitor)

Re: Little usability tweaks
I've realized that the first of my requests is actually a bug report as the prev/next links are already supposed to be there!
On Mozilla-firefox after you follow a prev/next event link once the line of links below the image disappears.
The Delete+prev/next is a really cool extra!
For making deleting events easier would it be possible to have:
- a delete button at the top as well as the bottom?
- a Shift-click method for marking a sequential block of events?

Having a great time chatting to myself!
Just to note that in Mozilla-firefox there is an option Tools/Options/Web features/Advanced which allows you to stop java-script resizing the window. Sorted!

Re: Little usability tweaks
Mozilla Firefox (at least) seems to end up without a scroll bar in some places (like "montage" or "view all stills") but I've no idea whether that's Firefox's doing or ZoneMinder's....
