RPM of ZoneMinder 1.21.x

Post by bujia »

Hi!

Is there anyone that have an RPM of ZM 1.21.x ? I want to install ZM without compiling it... I have Slackware 10.2...so it will be best a tgz package...but I want to try with an RPM anyway...

Anyone can help me? (sending to me an RPM package... ;-) )

Thanks in advance!

there are rpm's for fedora and mandrake/mandriva but no rpm's for slackware. You could try them but i doubt you will be succesful. You could change your distro if you are just using the box for zm.

RPM's for FC and Centos are

for mandrake chech the anouncements topic and look for Live CD.
The mandrake is for the most part the same except the web stuff is in /var/www were the others are in /usr/lib/zm

Phil,
If you want to use the link above that would be fine. I would avoid direct links to files as I'm going to do some house keeping and reorginizing here really soon. But the link above as the base will never change.

Yes, I've used that link, you can see it on the Downloads page. The only thing I thought might be useful is a short readme at the top level directing visitors to where the actual rpms are. It took me a bit of wandering up and down the directory tree yesterday before I found anything.

Everthing for ZM and related will be in Extra-RPMS for each distro. Once I do the house cleaning it will be about the only thing left. :D
