Zoneminder/CTU core CD distro
ZM CTU Core yum Repos
Here is a complete list of repos available (I should have posted this a long time ago):
The following are from my servers, They are not the most current updates from Fedora but as I update and test packages on my zm box the ctu-updates-released get posted as long as nothing breaks.
ctu-base
ctu-updates-released
ctu-Extra-RPMS -This will be where all packages for zm and extra required packages will be.
Fedora Server are set to disabled in their config but can be enabled using --enablerepo=<repo-name>
This was done so that I can make sure nothing breaks, but are still available in case you want to venture on your own.
base
updates-released
fedora-extras
development
updates-testing
Disclaimer:
I set this up in this fashion (so that Fedora repos are disabled, and updates come from my servers) so that I could make sure that an update does not break or interrupt ZoneMinder. If you go outside of this I promise nothing and stuff may break. If you update or install any other software outside of the distribution, you are responsible for it.

Check me out. I'm on linux trackers best 10 list for top sharers
The only thing I have shared is ZoneMinder CTU core and Ross's two liveCDs with my rocken banwidth of 40kb.
Now how does that happen?

webmin initial login user & pw?
I installed the FC3 Distro v1.21.3 and got zoneminer working but i failed to get the webmin going. I have used webmin with Suse distro and there the login was root , (root-pw).
This does not seem to work on this distro.
I see the loging properly but it fails to authorise me as root.
Anybody have a suggestion?

You have to set the root user to use pam authentication. When I mastered the iso I didn't realize that webmin installed before the perl-auth-pam module. Because of this you have to go into webmin and set the root user to login in this fashion. Once that is done any additional users added should function as expected.

That's pretty cool. I assume that doesn't mean that you personally have upload 151Gb does it? Or is it just that you are responsible for uploading stuff that forms 151Gb of downloads. If you get my meaningcordel wrote: Check me out. I'm on linux trackers best 10 list for top sharers

Thanx for this hint but uhhh.... can you help me with some additional hints as to what text in what file needs to be changed <shame> coz i'm not all that good with linux </shame> I'm just a 'webmin' and 'MidnightCommander' style sysadmin hahacordel wrote:You have to set the root user to use pam authentication.
Corey
Thanx
In webmin there is no text file to edit. You have to go into the webmin menu click [webmin users] -> [root] and select "unix authentication"
In [Webmin Configuration] -> [Authentication] make sure "Use PAM for Unix authentication, if available" is selected.
There is also a FAQ concerning this on webmins site.

Corey
