source driver is red (fixed)

i had this working, but then i changed the channels around and they all went red.

/dev/video0 and 4 channels.

i vaugely remember a long time ago when i tried this that there was a command i could use to release the video resource. i can't think of it though.

anyhow, i restarted the system and all the sources are still red. i'm using one of those grandtec 4 port cards.

i looked through the logs, but honestly i'm not sure exactly which i should be expecting errors in. i don't see any though. just reflects things that i've done.

re-installed everything including the db and got a chance to start fresh. so far so good except for pure blue images.
